Starting All Over

The Blue Grumpster isn't dead and gone. He just needed a fresh start, is all. It's a long story that I'll share with you between now and the next century. I hope you're still with me, but allow me to shave first. And while I'm trying my d@rnest to rebuild my blog (yes, It's got a new address) and give it a fresh new look while I'm at it, could you do me a favor and press that follow button again so I can see your pretty-n-handsome faces once again?

  3. I have read quite a few of ur blog stories. I read ur 50 before 50 bucket list. I guess my bucket list has always been in my head. I saw that u listed one to take ur uncle I believe to Graceland. I hope u r able to visit. I live in Memphis and live in an apartment complex that used to be the "projects" back in the day. I sometimes yo walk the footsteps that r on the sidewalk that lead to the apartment that him and his parents lived. I hope u do write ur grammar book. I have been wanting to read a simple version so I can correct my writing mistakes once and for all. Life is short isn't it. When u do visit, please be careful where u stay. Graceland is in a high crime area. It was nice and safe back in Elvis' days. It is not such a safe area anymore. Downtown has the Madison and the Peabody. All just a jump and a hop away from Graceland and other Memphis sights. As well as the Westin. I have personally never stayed in any three but I did work at Westin for a second job. The other two r nice too.

    1. Miss Stormy Marples... Does that mean your bucket list is somewhat of a secret? I'm know to be very curious, you see... Yes, I need to show my uncle Graceland. He's been a fan all his life, and now that he's been retired for a while he should do the things he's always wanted to do. A year ago I read about plans to upgrade the area a bit. Would you know anything about that? It all boils down to money, I'm sure, which some would say doesn't not make us folks happy... Anyway, we'll probably be staying at the Madison when we make that all important visit. I just hope I can convince my uncle get off that couch, take that plane and just go. But tell me, what's wrong with your grammar? :)

    2. Please forgive me for taking such a long time to respond. These last few weeks have been extraordinarily filled with criminal activity. Happens around the holidays.

Graceland is still in a neighborhood wrought with crime. So no the only changes I have seen have been more shops coming about selling cheap trinkets. Please prepare ur uncle for a somewhat commercial looking street. It was not that way when Elvis was living there. I hope that u will as well take a trip to Tupelo, MS his birthplace.

Does ur uncle blog? I should love to blog with him and tell him about Memphis. Or he can email me regarding Memphis.

My grammar and punctuation can improve. Sometimes, nowadays, we type so fast we do not go back and correct our mistakes.

  4. It was great to see your lovely blue face on my blog again! Although, I had been away for a small bit myself. I went to follow you but it said I already was, despite this post not showing up in my blog feed. So I unfollowed you and then followed you again but it still wouldn't show up in my blog feed. Maybe your next post will show up so we'll have to wait and see...I'll be around to see it though! :)
