Today Is the Day: We're in the Future!

MARTY: 'Where are we? When are we?'
DOC: 'We're descending toward Hill Valley, California, at 4:29 pm, on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015.'
MARTY: '2015? You mean we're in the future?'
JENNIFER: 'Future? Marty, what do you mean? How can we be in the future?'
MARTY: 'Uh, Jennifer, um, I don't know how to tell you this, but I... you're in a time machine.'
JENNIFER: 'And this is the year 2015?'
DOC: 'October 21st, 2015.'

That's right, today is the day, folks. We're in the future. Do you know what this means? This means...

Um... strike that.

Hey, it's October 21, 2015. So step into your flying DeLorean and explore the beauty that is Today. Who would've thought that 30 years would fly by (yeah, pun intended) this quick, right? What do you mean, 'There are no flying cars today'? How could that be? When I was a kid watching Back To The Future 2, they were very specific about one thing: there would be flying cars. There was no doubt about it.

Don't you remember? They said so on October 21, 1985.

1985? GRRRRRRRRREAT SCOTT!

  13. Hi Doc Blue/Blue Marty

This was really amazing...so masterfully created with pics and all. There was a special snippet on the news last night about Back to the Future and all the devices that are actually around today. Sort of surreal is so many ways. You have a lovely cast and crew how could it not be a success.

    much love Blue...

All the UFOs are prototypes of flying cars . . . . but they keep crashing because we don't universally drive/fly on the same side of the sky . . .

  19. OooOOooOOoooH Director! I like the way that sounds. I love that Pepsi and Universal and even Nike got in on the celebration of Back to The Future 2. It helps me realize there are actually people behind the cogs of the soulless machines. Also, you know what future movies never got right? The phones. No one predicted the iPhone and touch screen. Even the Jetsons couldn't think beyond a home phone. Video phone, sure, but still a home phone. Weird.

  20. Aren't you the sassy frassy, going to a BTTF marathon as I was on my weekly road trip to Bozeman, dodging hovercrafts all the way. It's the mountains that attract the spooky crafts. This is a fun post (hey you still got it kid). LOL
And producing another movie......you can't let all this talent go to waste.
Congrats too, on finding who took your shoe. I know you'd rather it is on Bora Bora ....but .......where were you when you took that respite in the woods? Better take care as the bears are eating up everything in sight as they prepare for their hibernation.
Why is it that time seems to take forever while we are living it but when we look back, it was just a blink of an eye.

However, you can tell that was from another era, because if a robot maid was created, it would look like this and the house would still be a disaster because the homeowner would just spend all of his time f***ing it.
